NYC is still prettiest in Spring, when the weather is fine and skirts and shorts can come out to play! Tribeca is one of my favourite areas in the city, and it also hold special meaning as that’s where I stayed during all my trips there last year. There are some great bars and restaurants in the area (Nobu is not bad at all, but my favourites are Locanda Verde, Bouley and Marc Fogione), great shopping and also some lovely places (and random parks!) to explore.
I didn’t get this pretty, pleated crop top in time for CNY so I ended up wearing it on Valentine’s Day. What’s your go-to look for a date?

While I generally love colours, I find that on days when I am feeling particularly not on top of the world, I tend to reach for bright items when getting dressed in the morning. I think it has a subtle psychological effect of lifting my mood!

So it’s been coooold lately (my idea of cold, anyway – I generally love the heat we have in the tropics!) but pretty nice to have the chance to wear my ‘Autumn/Winter’ wear here in Singapore. Not sure the lady behind me agrees on the weather situation though!
