Many people say we convent girls are a distinct bunch & I can’t disagree. I was from CHIJ Katong & I say…convent girls FTW!
The Arsenal team was in Singapore recently & I got the chance to chat with them!
Gave them a lesson in Singlish (Singaporean English), got them acquainted with Singapore dating quirks and of course there was a challenge involving a football!
They also gamely dished the dirty on who is the most vain one on the team, who the biggest flirt is & who they think is a blur ‘sotong’!
First time to Sri Lanka & what an adventure being there at festival season!
It was supposed to be a three-girl hen’s trip for Tza but one of us got preggers & couldn’t make it! The two of us decided to go ahead anyway because the time of year couldn’t have been better – the weather was ideal for climbing Adam’s Peak & it was also Vesak Day there so we got to soak in all the festivities. What a beautiful place…will be back!
