Bangkok for work and for play! Took a trip to one of my favourite cities with the bestie and then stayed on to peek in on Pomelo Fashion’s studio, checked out a fashion show and shopped their pop-up shop.
Have been travelling like crazy this year! Here are fun bits from trips to two very different places I visited in 2018 – hiking and white water rafting in the Kingdom of Bhutan, then snowboarding in Shiga Kogen, Japan!
Join me on my adventures in the Kingdom of Bhutan!
Together with Sonia Chew, plus contest winners Cassandra and Victoria, we had the opportunity to travel to beautiful Bhutan recently. From a helicopter ride, to hiking to Tiger’s Nest and cooking a meal in a local Bhutanese home, here’s what we got up to!
If I had to describe 2017, I’d say it was a year of learning. There were the fun bits: I got to travel to many places, I made new friends, strengthened other friendships and gained many new experiences.
But 2017 was also a year of many changes and challenges.
I naively thought that hitting my 30s meant I was finally an “adult”; that there wasn’t a whole lot to learn and even less to grow.
This year, I was humbled to find that I have so much more to learn – and a whole lot more growing up to do.
Took a long, hard look at 2017 before I wrote it a letter and finally bid it farewell. (Which is why this video is a few days into this fresh year.)
Part II of this travelogue where you can join us as we explore the city!
We had such a great time driving out of Melbourne city to Mornington Peninsula, where we spent our time picking strawberries, riding horses by the beach, venturing through grass mazes and petting kangaroos, wallabies and koalas! Watch Part I of this travelogue here.
We then drove back to the city where we checked out Hosier Lane, Crown Casino, Queen Victoria Market and other gems.
Not my first time to Melbourne, but my first time road-tripping out to Mornington Peninsula – fun times!
This started out as a girls’ trip but then Aunty Sheng Wei joined us. (He was awesome though!)
We had such a great time driving out of Melbourne city to Mornington Peninsula, where we spent our time picking strawberries, riding horses by the beach, venturing through grass mazes and petting kangaroos, wallabies and koalas! Oh, and a lot of eating and wine-tasting as well. (When in Australia, live like the Aussies, y’know?)
Wait for Part II of this vlog where you can join us in Melbourne city!
