LolliPOP-UP: Jipaban x Blogger Bazaar party this Sunday!

So I’ve been really busy of late with maryjulian and Jipaban – all in the name of bringing you exciting things! First up – what are you doing this Sunday? We’re throwing a party at Zouk from 11am – 6pm, so come by with your friends and family and spend a fun day with me! =)

Jipaban will be popping up at Zouk for a blogger bazaar party this Sunday, 2nd of June 2013.

This LolliPOP-UP event will showcase an extensive range of carefully curated items from Jipaban’s e-commerce brands including women’s apparel & accessories, menswear, fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs and video games – all going at up to 80% off!

The bazaar will bring together the best of the blogosphere, with favourite fashion and lifestyle bloggers selling their pre-loved clothes and an array of beauty samples. Bloggers include Dawn Yang (clapbangkiss.xanga.com), Zoe Raymond (zoeraymond.com), Miss Universe 2011 Valerie Lim (dweam.com), Rachell Tan (rachelltan.com), Sophie Willocq (sophiewillocq.blogspot.sg), Jessica (tippytapp.blogspot.sg), beauty blogger Evonne (evonnz.com), menswear & lifestyle blogger Ben Toh (typicalben.blogspot.sg), and many more.

(You can read more about what Rachell, Jess and Ben have to say about the party as well!)

I’m also super excited to show off the Summer 2013 collection – there will be a very limited pre-sale of some of the items on Sunday, so be sure to check that out too! Here’s a sneak preview in the meantime!

Jipaban is collaborating with heaps of other cool people for the party— for coffee fanatics, there is Strangers’ Reunion; the amazing folks from The Ice Cream & Cookie Co. will be hawking their delicious ice-cream sandwiches; there’ll be makeover booth by ZA and Maybelline; and a fun photowall where shoppers can take snaps with their friends and favourite bloggers.

This is not your typical flea – it’s a fun Sunday out!

See you then! xx

Hop, skip & jump away

I love skating – I started out with roller-skates when I was about seven or eight, progressed to in-line skates (begged my folks for them!) when I was eleven, and played around with ice-skates when I was fourteen. I still in-line skate to unwind about once a week – albeit with none of that stunt action involving steps and ramps anymore – but I haven’t hit the ice in quite a few years.

I’ve always wanted to skate outdoors (kinda hard to do that in Singapore, yo!), so I braved the cold, grabbed my skates and went down to Central Park. It also helped that it was a gorgeous, sunny, blue-sky kind of day – although still pretty darn cold, don’t be fooled!Pretty snowdrops in the park. So lovely!Plucky duckies taking a swim.

And that’s me looking extremely pleased with myself! (And flouting the no-mobile-phone-no-bag-on-the-ice rule, heh.)

30’s a Charm

Was the bestie’s birthday recently, and we had a good ole’ fashioned kind of celebration.Since it also fell during the 15 days of CNY this year, we went all-out retro ching-chong with a 10 course Chinese dinner at a super old school place in Chinatown. Since she’s ROM-ing later this year, there were many jokes of having her dinner at this place, complete with 80s style wedding gown – HUGE puffy sleeves, HUGE head pieces, complete with side-styled frizzy hair…Have your wedding here, please! Heh.

The yusheng was funny that day. Apparently. The company, even funnier…Found it all a little fishy.Ok, ok, couldn’t resist. Heh.

Adjourned to Bitters & Love after for drinks and cake. (And arm-wrestling and then some!)

Let the epic battle begin. (C & E not impressed…)A & J even more unimpressed…

Starry Starry Night

Recently attended the opening of Mediacorp’s new baby, ME@OUE. It’s a pretty cool concept – Japanese, French and Chinese cuisine all under one roof, by chefs Masayasu Yonemura, Laurent Peugeot and Justin Hor (that’s not one, but two Michelin starred chefs under one roof!).

Dressed-down Leather

I love leather, but it can look a little too dressed-up for day sometimes. Slouchy tees are one of my loves as well (I have so many I am finding it hard to store them, opps!), so I decided to pair the two for an easy, comfy day look.

The resident neighbourhood kitty, Socks (the Lollies call him that because he has white feet, like socks!), wanted some camera-time too!

Florals & Sparkle

I’ve been so into printed & coloured jeans lately (so much more fun!) and I’m loving these floral ones from maryjulian. Also can’t wait to launch this sparkle pullover too – coming to you soon in 3 pretty, versatile tones!

Thanks Amanda for the Bimba & Lola addition to my arm swag!

Wore my Accessori Astaroth Skulls Connector ring to the 987fm studio earlier that day, and found Vernon A wearing a skull finger accessory too!

Have a lovely weekend with your loved ones!
